The Green Bride Guide website http://www.greenbrideguide.com was launched in 2009 by environmental lawyer Kate Harrison after her book, The Green Bride Guide, How to Create an Earth- Friendly Wedding on Any Budget, became a best-seller in the wedding category (Sourcebooks, 2008). One Loom Studio was created in 2009 by artist and designer Jessica Farber-Robinson, who studied at the Rhode Island School of Design. Her work uses recycled silver and her own sustainably grown plants to create a line of unique nature inspired jewelry.
