Handmade Holiday Ornaments: Swiss Chalet Birdhouse

I like to make my own holiday ornaments every year. It adds a special touch to the holiday season, and each year as you add them to the tree, those handmade ornaments just have so much more meaning then the store-bought ones. Valentines Day Gifts For The Kitties: Organic Catnip Mice


I love making toys for my three kitties Lutefisk, Bellatrix, and Houdini. And these Valentines Day mice were the biggest hits yet. They are extremely simple to make and look adorable. It only took me about an hour to make these three.

This morning we had our first frost! It was icy and cool and the grass all looked like it was painted with sugar. I love icy mornings with a warm mug of tea and a good book.
